We have two offices connected via a tieline. One end is Opt. 61C 25.40 and the other end is 25.3 Opt. 11C. All sets on both ends have TDD in the CLS. I've noticed that sometimes when I call my counterpart on the far end via the tieline I don't see his name until he answers. The far end has also brought to my attention that they don't always see our names until after they answer the phone. Everything looks correct in programming on the set end but there's probably something I'm missing in the CDP/TSC. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

doyou have nd2 in your rcap for the d?..

i don't know. Can you tell me what LD to look in for this? I can probably figure it out once you give me a little push in the right direction...thanks, JohnPoole.

In LD 22 I printed ADAN and got the below:
RCAP COLP (connected line identification presentation).

is this good, bad or indifferent? It sounds to me like this means if the line is NOT connected then the name display isn't going to show? I'm very hesitant to change anything until I hear back from you, JohnPoole. Thanks.

i would add nd3 to the rcap, if you look up the possible responses, mine usually have mwk(?) so that i get msg lamps across the link, you will not take the ckt down to make a change, but you'll need to load dis dch x and do a enl dch x fdl to get the change to load to that card

Thanks, JohnPoole. Am I correct about COLP basically meaning that the name display is presented only when a call is connected/answered?

I just printed the below for the far-end:
RCAP ND2 COLP
so their end looks correct, right? My end is simply COLP...

yes match your end to that, might be all you need

and I can simply enter COLP NI2 with no adverse effects? I just have to first disable the d-channel? Can I do this during business hours? thanks, JohnPoole.
