Is it possible to get Caller ID information from a PRI circuit to be output on the SMDR stream on a MICS V4.0 with a 4.0NAM?

Thanks for any help...

Yes - we have SMDR 6 but Caller Id data does not appear on the call records when we print reports. We are wondering if there is a flag we are missing to enable the Caller ID information to go to the SMDR system.

Any thoughts???

Good, 1 of 2, that I'm familiar with. Change the setting in system set-up to be Norstar w/ Caller ID delux. That should do it...let me know if it doesn't. I can look at my set up at the office tomorrow morning.

We actually had the customer change the setting (good admin) to Norstar with Caller ID delux and it still will not show Caller ID on the reports.

I appreciate the follow up. Any other thoughts would be appreciated..

We're using an SMDR6 on a MICS with PRI, but with a later version, MICS 6.1 MR WI 6.05. We also use custom call accounting software developed in-house. Caller ID info is provided by the SMDR6 in realtime and call detail records, in the following format:

*070904 075829 0159 0008784127 CALLER ID NAME U G

*070904 075829 0159 0008784127 0816 U D

*070904 075851 0159 534 0008784127 CALLER ID NAME U A

*070904 075858 0159 534 0008784127 CALLER ID NAME U R

-------- 07/09/04 07:58:51 LINE = 0159 STN = 534
CALLING NUMBER 0008784127
NAME CALLERS ID NAME
UNKNOWN
DNIS NUMBER 0816
BC = SPEECH
00:00:00 INCOMING CALL RINGING 0:23
LINE = 0001
00:00:07 CALL RELEASED

You can see the output directly by connecting a serial printer to the SMDR data port.

I am having problems with Caller ID information on a PRI, but I have an SMDR5. I noticed everyone else is talking about SMDR 6... does anyone know if I can get it to work with SMDR5?
