For about the last six months I have seen caller info on outgoing calls(name and number) If the phone is ring I can hit my inspect button and see the info as well. This is not a service I ordered I just figured it was some sort of DMS upgrade from the local telco (Bell). We have 5 pri on a definity G3-R10. In the last week no more info is coming up (BOO).I placed a call to Bell and they never heard of this feature. Any info would be great
Thanks. YIMMER

Can you find out if something happened?

List history will tell you who's been in the switch and what they've done.

Did you upgrade the system recently?

Must be an reason I'd say. Plan your work............Work your plan

We did go from a 6 to a 10 about 8 months ago but recently I have made no changes that would affect this

Let's wait if others have options.

Sorry Plan your work............Work your plan

Try this...
Change trunk-group # (what ever your new isdn is)
On page 2 of the trunk-group you should see 2 fields one is...
Send Name: y
the other...
Send Calling Number: y

Both should be set to yes in order to send ani.

Hope this helps,

Oooh, you're using PRIs. Have you taken a look at your ISDN public-unknown numbering?

First:

PRI trunk group, page 1 -- numbering format is set to "pub-unk"
page 2 -- send name is set to "N" (business names are often unclear when sent by the T1 provider), send calling number is set to "Y". and numbering format is set to "public."

Then:
Change isdn public-unknown-numbering (ch isdn pub)
enter individual extension or extension block

With a 5-digit dial plan, you might use:
"3" for 3XXXX
"367" for 367XX extensions
"36507" for an individual extension

Enter the ISDN-PRI trunk groups (standard is to enter 26-27 for PRI trunk groups 26 and 27)

Enter the CPN prefix -- the number you want the called party to see when one of these extensions completes an outside call -- "8314620777" to send the enter number, or "831462" if you want to send the individual DID number

Enter CPN length as 10 (digits)

Hope this is helpful!

Thanks Little John but the caller info I was seeing on the display is the person I'm calling not the person seeing mine . However I just got off the phone with Mega-link service tech and they tell me the CRTC has deemed this to be a bad thing and forced Bell Canada to remove this feature off the DMS service BOOO
Thanks for all your help Guys
