we have class modem card 0n CS1000E , CLID work fine on analouge phones , could you please explain me why when we change the Codec on the Zone from BQ to BB ( BEST BANDWIDTH ) we lost the CLID ON ALL 500 STET`S ???? WHAT IS THE RELATION BETWEEN CLASS MODEM CARD AND THE CODEC???

I think what PerryP is trying to get at is the way the codecs compress their information. Switching codecs may provide better quality but some functionality may be lost due to compatibility reasoning. Do you have other types of phones on their that are still getting caller ID?
