Caller ID on 3x8 Software 1

Ok Help!
I have a 3x8 nortstar system ds5 i believe. Well it supports caller id. How can i setup my phones to display the caller ID information B4 picking up the handset. Is this possible in this system? Also my Basic T7100 Series phone is Displaying "CALLS FOR YOU"

Can someone help me.

Yes it does.
F** Config, should ask for 'pswd:' which is CONFIG.
this should yield A.CONFIGURATION on the display.
Do you have the overlay on your set?
Press NEXT until you see D. System Version
Press SHOW, note the SP number and post.

ok so i was doing it right,
but like i mentioned when i hit next it shows Overides, as the 5th option there is no option that shows system version.

I just worked on a 6X16 today that does the same thing it is Dr1 software and there was no option for caller id and no SP codes.

You have either a DR1 or DR2 software. That version does not support CLID. I started wondering when you said there was no password required. That's some old stuff you got there!

also strange is that DR1 & 2 don't support M7100....?

Well now I'm having a senior moment....3x8 came out a dr5...HElp, i'm falling asleep and can't wake up!

Well, thanks for your help, now i know i need to get the DR5.1
do yo happen to know if the DR1 is the reason my ATA2 controller wont work right?
