Hi,
We have BCM450R1 (soft. 8.0) with two PRI lines and VoIP trunk to external IVR. When we call DID to VoIP trunk/IVR then Caller ID is presented on IVR. But when call goes thru Auto Attendant to VoIP trunk/IVR then we dont see Caller ID.

The old IVR was connected to BCM over analog lines and Caller ID is presented.

I was serching this list and I found a lot of interesting information, but I didnt find similar problem.
I'm guessing that I'm doing something wrong, but I dont know what.

I appreciate any suggestions,
Jacek

If call goes thru auto-attendant and then transfers to a set, do you see caller ID on the set?
Do you have MCDN keycode?

Yes, if call goes thru auto-attendant and then transfer to a set we see caller ID.
But when call is transfered to SIP trunk then external IVR is not seeing caller ID.

Also, I was playing with Adtran 904, I thought that maybe BCM use PRI differently then SIP trunk. On BCM we have two PRI lines connected to CO. I connnected third PRI to Adtran 904 to translate to SIP and then to external IVR. I was watching debug on PRI on Adtran and caller ID was not presented, it was target line. And changing some options in Dialing Plan>Routing such as Private,Public, Local didnt resolve it.

Trial MCDN keycode was applied, but nothing has been change. Maybe some additional configuration is needed for MCDN.

When you're working with a target line you have to check the Caller ID Set box to receive/pass the CLID.

On the SIP issue, the IP Trunk Settings tab should have a field called Redirect OLI (or something to that affect). Check that to allow the incoming CLID to be passed over the SIP trunk.

You can use the UIP tab of BCM Monitor to watch the signaling messages on the SIP by checking the MCDN over IP tab.

HTH!

Thank you SupportDude, UIP option on BCM monitor is very helpful.
I've check "Forward redirected OLI" box, but still I cant get CLID on SIP trunk to external IVR.

I dont know where to check the Caller ID Set box to receive/pass the CLID.

I was playing with playing with Dialing Plan - Routing > DN Type (Local, Private, National) and I see changes on UIP. With private even local CLID was not presented.
