I have a customer that has an IP Office 406 that was upgraded from a 4 to a 5. Since doing this, when a person calls in, and it is transferred to an outside number (trunk to trunk) the calling party's caller ID is not showing up. It shows the company's caller ID. They said it used to work. Any help would be appreciated!

How is it transferred off site?

Does the user answer the call and transfer it, is it a forwarded extension, mobile twinning?

That is the risk with upgrading, what used to work suddenly doesn't on a higher release.
I have had the same issue and until today's latest release it still doesn't work[mad]

Janni78, they don't have twinning, but yes it is on transferred calls, and forwarded calls

Transferred calls I do not think would ever worked. how is the system to know you are about to transfer a caller & not just make an enquiry call?

forwarded calls may work but would require support form the line provider (level 5 CLI Presentation on a UK ISDN others may vary)

what do you see for a forwarded call on system monitor?

Try this

Here is how I setup the system to pass the caller ID: Set up a system short code

*2N
Dial
Nss
0 (PRI)

User:
Forward Unconditional: Checked
Forward number : *2 cell number

Thanks everyone for all of your help! NYSTech, I will try the short code!
