Scenario: I'm working up a test scenario where a multicall key number (9999)is 3rd party call fwd to a ring group (6666). The call goes through just fine. But the caller ID which shows up after the call is answerd, only displays the Callers Name. By changing the the COS of the sets in the ring group;
Display ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called Number to NO
Then the Callers Number and Name is displayed after the call is answered. But when calling the sets directly then only the callers name is displayed.

If I can get the name then there should be a way to get the number also on a call forward. Am I correct?

What set. Some sets with larger displays show more info.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

They are 5220IP. As I mentioned a normal call (DID) the Name shows up with Toggle softkey for the number.

thnk hitting the blue key gets the number.

Blue Key - The Superkey? No that shows the superkey features as it should.

There is a key that when hit toggles between the name and number of the calling party. Though it was the blue key when the set is ringing. Might be the # or *. You do this when the set is ringing but before you pick up the handset. Check the set user guide on line.

Hello,

You have to hit the superkey then select the key that is ringing/flashing.

Thanks, Son-of-a-gun if that doesn't work.

Thanks Acthard. Knew there was a way to do it just couldn't remember it.
