Caller ID Issue

Installed a new Vodavi STSe - All CO lines are answered by the auto-attendant. I understand the station that receives the line will get the id display - My question is - does the caller id register on the answer/unanswer list when it goes through the auto-attendant? If it does. I am not getting the answer/unanswer list.

I believe it goes through the smdr list as stated below:

The key system operation of the ICLID feature is dependent on the feature first being
activated from the central office so that the numbers of the calling party are delivered over
the individual tip and ring of the CO lines during the first silent interval between ringing.
The features implemented are:
?? Display of calling number/name on initial ring-in of a line on the display keysets.
?? Recording of incoming call number/name on the SMDR printout.
?? Management of an Unanswered Call table from a display phone with appropriate
privilege level to allow tracking of unanswered calls for statistical information and return
call management.
?? Local translation of incoming numbers to names according to a table of number/name
equivalences which can be administered by the system.

You probably need to read more in the manual about a privilage level for management of unanswered calls to allow tracking of such calls. I would believe that if the calls are all answered by the auto-attendant then no calls would go unanswered. Would I be wrong about this?

Be sure that you set the ring delay timer for about 5 seconds to make sure the ICLID info is delivered to the system.
