Caller ID issue in KX TES824

Hello everyone..

I recently got job as a security system engineer.on 1st day boss gave assignment to work with panasonic pbx system KX-TES824.
the task which he gave me to solve is the caller id issue ..on PT(Proprietary Telephone) the caller id is working.but on other Geepas Caller id phone it isn't..boss say it was working a month ago..lol wt a luck i gt
I want to know wt can be the possible reason for it?
can anyone help me with this stuff..i read the user manual.bt everything is going over my head.
plz drop few lines that will help me to save my job.

if it is a slt, you have to turn on caller for slt in prog 628.

Thanx man for ur reply..so now i know wt i to do..bt how to do??srry if i am asking silly questions bt no odr way..ok i have Kx TE maintenance console software so need to connect the PBX with it right?can i program it using PT?

in programming tool, look at cid and slt cid. and that text typing is hard to read, please reply normally

Srry for the text hope this time its fine.

The problem i am facing now is the maintenance console software the technician who installed it has changed its password and no one knows in office.

can i install new software for it?
From where can i get the software?

can I program it using Keyphone(KXt7730)?

IF yes can u please guide me

You can reload the software or program from the main phone, but he more than likely has changed the system password. Try program *# password and see if you can get in
