caller id in mermail

How do i get my messages in Meridian Mail to read external call id #'s and not unknown # ?

If someone is blocking their caller ID, there is nothing you can do. If this is on all calls, are you seeing caller ID on your phone for any external calls? If not, you need to fix that first before vmail will get the number. That could be a PBX issue or a telco issue.

Log in to the MerMail terminal

>> Main Menu >> General Administration >> Dialing Translations >> Dialing Translation Defaults >> Capture CLID with Unknown Format (Set this to YES)

Thx Guys, Someone changed BLOCK CLID DISPLAY to YES in VOICE SECURITY in MERMAIL. It needs to be NO. Thanks for your help.
