Hi,

facing a problem with caller id.
Currently the caller ID for calls that are made through analog CO trunks from CS1000 are not being thrown out to CC6. I have realised it when i'm checking on the AML traces. Instead it shows the specific trunk access code and member. There is no such issue for ISDN30. Is it due to configuration? Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks.

Hi StoneColdphoneman,
you mean that for analog CO trunk, the pabx is not able to throw out the caller ID to CC6, but ISDN 30 is able to. Thus this is the system limitation?
urgently need to find out. Thks alot.

COT or DID analog trunks that are connected to Universal trunk card will not pass CLID to any phone on the PBX. I’m 99 % sure.

Hi StoneColdphoneman,
Noted.
Thanks for the information.

hi, wish to enquire again with regards to this issue.

understand that for incoming calls, CLID is not supported for analog CO trunks, hence showing the route access code and member.

But what about for outgoing calls, shouldn't the information captured be the dialed digits instead of whether CLID is supported. Is there any way to get the information to be shown as dialed digits through the AML link for outgoing calls?

The thing is that i'm in fact not looking at any CLID. I understand CLID will kick in for incoming calls.

In my case, i'm trying to find out for outgoing calls instead. Is there any way to output the dialed digits as the information through an AML link?

Hi tnphoneman, i understand that CLID is not supported by the analog trunks.
What I'm trying to find out is whether can the dialed digits/outpulsed digits for outgoing calls be displayed as information through the AML link?
Thanks.
