I've seen a previous post ( that Caller ID information isn't available to a caller already using their line when the second call rings. We have a PRI T1 and DID's and the Caller ID information for the second "works" but the incoming call only shows the DN's assigned line information, such as the Line Number or Line Name or the Public Number assigned to the line. While the second call rings, Feature 811 only shows the Physical Line number. In sum, only internal system information is shown on the set while that second call rings. However, the call log will show all the caller ID information for the second call.
I can't get an answer from our service provider and have learned a great deal about the BCM in the last few months to the point where I feel pretty confident there's little else for me to try (and nothing left to read), but I need an authoritative anwswer that this "expensive phone system" can either do what our home phones can (and keep investigating) or that it cannot. My users consider this pretty important and I would really appreciate any response from the Forum. Thanks.
