Is there a way to see in the display who is calling on a bridged appearance before you pick up the handset? It only shows up after the call is answered. We are using the 6400 series sets on a G3R v11.

Have you tried turning on bridged call alerting. That may do it for you.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have tested this on a different switch (same release) with bridged call alerting turned on & off. If the bridged appearance is set to ring, the display will show when it rings whether call alerting is on or off. But, if it is set to not ring, the display doesn't show until you pick up the hand set. I didn't realize that ringing would have anything to do with the call display. Or is this a bug that hasn't been caught?
