Caller ID blocked Area code still showing

MICS w/4.1 software using a PRI line

I'm far from any phone switch guru.

We currently have caller id block setup from the LEC on our entire range. When calling say my cell phone the area(412) shows up on the display. We need it to be completely blank. So that dialed persons doesn't know the number

In the routing section of the programming the absorbed lenth is set to all. Other then that i'm at a complete loss.

IF YOU HAVE NOTHING IN THE OLI FIELD OF THE EXTENSION THEN THE AERA CODE IS COMING FROM THE LEC

nope nothing in the oli field for my extension. I figured it was from the LEC but i wanted some feedback from someone else before i pushed back on them.

What kind of legit business are you in that you can't let the caller know who you are?

We are a software sales company. The sales team does cold calls all day. They might call a lead a few times. They feel if the lead reconized the number they wouldn't answer. I don't agree with the CEO but it's her company.

Why don't you just have your telco remove the caller ID from the lines you use for this purpose. Called party will see "unknown number private caller"
