I don't know if this is possible... but....

Is it possible to have a different CLID be used if the call is going to route 1 rather then route 2?

IE: main calling out.. appear on the far end as 222-222-2222.

while a call to an asterisk server on route 2 should apear on the asterisk server as 222-222-extension?

Background info: Option11c pbx connected via 2 t1 cards on tn's 7 and 8 to an asterisk server. Connected to the main world via tn's 2 and 3.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I don't know how your provider handles it, but here (In the Netherlands) you are only allowed to send numbers that are configured for that E1.

So if you have an E1-a with xxx-xxxxxxx and an E1-b with yyy-yyyyyyy you can only send the xxx over E1-a and yyy over E1-b.

If it's a TIE (Private network) you can send what ever you want...

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed... Oh wait, he does...

The part where I am trying to send a different caller ID to (specifically the local desk phone number is what I am trying to send) is a TIE in to another private machine controlled by me.
