Hello all, new guy with a question of course,
Nortel Norstar MICS6.1 Incoming lines on T1, callpilot 150/mini rel 02 0003
I have an odd problem with an extension not getting Caller ID. The extension in question answers a dedicated number, someone before me had the AA answer the call and go to the CCR tree where the caller heard "If you need to reach so and so, press 1" And that's it. The extension in question was having some problems between local calls and 800 calls coming into it, 800 calls worked fine, local call rang to neverland. I took off the AA and CCR and had the line appear directly on the phone instead. Doing this however had "####### (I don't recall the exact #)from PRI" show up instead of the callers number.
So I put AA back on, set it to a CCR tree with a home node set as a transfer instead of an option and vola, caller ID shows up on the phone again, any ideas?
Also, I need to use a Hunt Group from a CCR transfer (they want multiple people to answer incoming calls instead of the long menu choice they have now), but the documentation I have says that "Hunt group set numbers cannot be in a page zone." Does this mean that if I add phones to a hunt group that they loose the ability to receive a page? Or is it referring to something else?
And on one phone it has the date and time with the word "UPDATE" above the button, pressing this comes up with a DN's number, NEXT and OK Not sure what it's about, never seen it before and pressing OK doesn't clear it.
Lastly, there is one phone that rings and then just stops, there is no voicemail or call forward setting on this phone or anything, it just rings and then goes back the the CCR. Other phones will just sit and ring forever.
Thanks to all,
Steven
