Callback 1

I have an Ericsson md110, and I am trying to program the Callback feature to work over a QSIG link to another PBX. Any suggestions??

Hi!
I don't know what's your problem with callback. But it's typical that it doesn't work if you don't active "closed numbering plan" with ROCAC command.
I don't remember exactly the parameter, and I haven't got any documentation here. Maybe in SERV inside ROCAC.

Hi there !

In Q-SIG you can apply the Callback between A-Site to B-Site and you must arranged to numbering plan.
Here I enclosed the parameter to initiate Q-SIG.

Parameter for Q-sig.

I have set up the Ericsson side, but it does not appear to work. I am connecting to an Alcatel PBX over an E1 Qsig link. Does it have to be in a Ericsson only environment??

I had a similar problem last year using DPNSS to an alcatel switch and it turned out to be the Alcatel switch. The software was an older release so nothing could be done.

First of all for this to work you need to be running BC11 or BC12. These both support ISO-QSig Generic Function Protocol (GFP) for Call Back. If you are talking to any other PABX than an MD110 this is what you need.

Next the following Parameters need to be set.

On the Dest ADC
D5=0 This indicates that the connected PABX is not an MD110.
D17=1 This indicates to use ISO-QSig for Call Back.

On the Route.
VARI
D1=1 or 5 This indicates support for GFP on the Route.
D4=4 This indicates that ISO-QSig to be used.

VARO
D1=1 This indicates to use IPNS on the Route.

Also you do need a closed numbering plan.
