Hi Guys,

I have a doctors surgery with IP Office preferred with D100. One of the handsets is used for the nurses who can be anywhere around the building at anytime hence the Dect. On top of the ordinary internal/external calls the handset receives emergency calls that need to take priority. Because of this if the phone is in use they need to somehow receive and alert if an emergency call comes through.

To achieve this I have used call waiting on a group for the emergency call then any internal calls go to a group without call waiting on. If the handset is in use and an emergency call comes through they receive the initial beeps but because they are in a noisy environment they are complaining that the beeps aren't loud enough and they would prefer them to be constant beeps or beep every couple of seconds.

I have tried various things on my test system but I am unable to achieve what they want. I have suggested that they have a second handset as Purely the emergency phone but they only want to carry the one handset round with them. I have also suggested we use park and page but that was a no go.

Any advise or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
