call volume

I have a 7406Plus phone on a definity G3 switch.

I know how to do the ringing volume and speaker phone volume.

Can I turn up the volume of the call itself(without a handset that has a volume dial on it)?

If I remember correctly, it is just adjusting the volume button while on a call.

use the volume up button whilst on a call on the handset.

Per your help, I just tried it.
It doesn't seem to do anything at all.

There is no voice volume up/down button on 7406 phones. The slide switch is only for the ringer volume. There are amplified handsets available for the 74XX series phones.
