I know from INT_DATA, we can change CTVN to an announcement route. But announcement recording is always a headache.

Is there a way to ACD to CallPilot, which has better recording control?

You would have to create an IDC entry for each unused extension that would point to your application. everytime you build a new extension you would have to make sure you removed from the idc table.

It's easier just to give them a reorder (120IPM)

Much easier...Is there a reason for wanting to send them to an announcement. I have a customer that has a RAN "You have reached a non-working number at..." but a reorder is just as good.

It's mainly telemarketers calling.

Thanks janaya and PERRYPJ for your ideas.

Yes it was for telemarketing calls. I thought it might need some work at MIRAN of a remote SMG. So I called our vendor.

But apparantly the vendor used other way, such that they didn't need site access. When the work was done, the CTVN was not changed (CTVN OVF OVF OVF ATN). Internal or inbound calls to vacant numbers were routed to an ACDN pointed to a CallPilot application, where recording was added.

Any idea how this works?

Many thanks for reading this...
