Call to Forward automatically to Symposium if not answered

Objective; Forward an external call to symposium if there is no answer after 5 rings
Meridian Option 11, Symposium CCS version4

My plan was to use the revert number in Call Pilot, and put a CDN which is configured with a script in Symposium.
In other words, the call comes in, rings on the telephone set, and would hopefully forward to the revert number in Call Pilot instead of voicmail. The revert number would be a CDN configured in symposium.
When i test using my cell phone, it does not work and i hear the recorded voicemail greeting.
The CDN works when I call it directly.

In order for the revert DN to be called, the caller must dial 0 during the voicemail message.

Make HUNT/FDN go to that number instead on Vmail

another work around.. are you using a 2250? either way if you allow fba.. then unansewered calls (did's only) will forward to the atdn.. find the right combination to make that a cdn.. include it in your master script..

of use cfta and send external to a cdn

OK.. in call piliot I thought this would work:
"Block message call handling" < > transfer to revert DN
I created a separate telephone set for this number and configured the FDN and Hunt with the CDN and it seems to work!!. (I had this number as a 2nd number on a couple of phones). Thanks guys.
Can someone give me an explanation of Hunt and how it is different the FDN (forward no answer)?

i need to have the 2250 ring on console and cfw no answer to mail after say 20 seconds. i have set this to 20 seconds but its still not forwarding to mail if not anserwered by console, i have set the aodn to go to mail. I cannot use night service as this needs to be active 24 hours
