Hello there,

There is a request from Business as below,

If any one call the VDN(XXXXXX)from internally call should straight hit to the Skill instead of listening welcome message and call flow.

External callers should go through the vector steps as defined. This is what happening for internal and externcal callers.

Business dont want to create another VDN for internal users as all the users know this VDN number

Any Ideas?

Thanks in Advance

Siva

If you're using ISDN trunks you can capture the incoming DNIS digits (VDN), delete it, and replace it with a different VDN. Send that new VDN to the existing vector. Take the existing VDN and point it to a new vector that has the call flow that you want internal callers to experience.

Depending on the number of internal extension, you could put in a VRT (vector routing table).

Build a VRT (add vrt next).
Put a new step in the existing vector
[tt]GOTO STEP X IF ANI IN TABLE Z[/tt] where Z = VRT number

Drawback - updating the VRT when new stations are added.

Thanks susan, as you said VRT is not a comfort solution for this request.

Thanks Kevin, i will speak with business people to see if they are ok for incoming digits treatment.

Thank you very much
