I have NCOS and TGAR set on my Option 11 system so that certain phones can only 4-digit dial. No outbound calls allowed (except for 911).

I have a few manager cell number set up in our system as CDN's so that we only need to dial a 4-digit to those particular cell phones. Well... now those restricted phones can't dial out via ACD.

Is there a way that I can set these phones to 4-digit dial *and* be able to dial a few select outside numbers?

Thanks,
-Tom in Scranton, PA

sure, if you set up ncos to = frl, then decide who gets the select numbers, give then nocs 2,send then to a new rlb, entry 0 frl 2 enter 1 frl 3.. the numbers that are open need to be frl 3 ... only the nxx's that you want to allow access need to be sent to the new rlb... you don't have to have a new rlb, you can change the old one, but i would do it with a new one, just to make the seperation cleaner..you can also change the frl of any other special cdp numbers. i always set up a ncos plan to have space in it.. 2 for local 4 for ld 6 for int... then i can slip smaller breakdowns of the numbering plan into the open space,,, food for thought

Sounds a bit too complicated for me to try. Oh well, thanks anyway!

John,
Could they use a system speed call list. Never done it but I've read it's possible.

yes if you allow ssc to override ncos.. works well
