Hello,

I need to call reout a number that does not exist in user configuration but yet under call rerouting assignment it shows up their. Any ideas where i can find this number in mitel its an anologue line.

Matt

Call Rerouting XXX XXXX : 14 14 14 All 5 1
14 Reroute Reroute Reroute Reroute XXXX

I think its because the other extension (the one i dont want it to forward too) has the number forwarded some other way??? should i delete extension test that it forwards then recreate extensions?

Call forwarding does override the Call Routing so you are probably correct.
Look at the Call Forwarding Profile form, you can either change it there or remove it to allow the rerouting to take place.
It may also pay to look in your Feature Access code for "Call Forwarding - Follow Me - Third Party" as this can allow you to dial codes to forward XXX XXXX to destinations assuming you have the correct Class of Service.

all thanks for your help it was nothing to do with mitel ;( our telephone company had set it up to forward the number to our extension so i got the telephone company to forward the call to the other extension
