Now that with 9.1 Advanced Edition is no longer available for 9.1 along with Contact Store, and the customer at 9.1.7, what other options are out there for call recording that have the ability to choose https (for HIPAA requirements) for the client retrieval of messages? With ContactStore one could choose HTTP or HTTPS per the manual. I was really surprised that Avaya took away one of their solutions from the platform without having a replacement or have I missed something?

The server edition uses contact recorder and the normal ipo uses contact store. You just need a different license than advanced edition.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

ContactStore is still supported on 9.1, they just removed the Advanced Edition license but all the things it supported are enabled in other ways or on other licenses.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

hi jim

avaya ipo contact store(on windows) and contact recorder (on liunx) both are supported on 9.1

The customer has Server Edition. They have 3 devices, server edition a ip500 gateway and i think a third server as an app server w vm pro... will need to dig into their config a little more.

Big concern is can contact recorder do HTTPS and do you access the recordings from a browser window searchable like ContactStore? Thanks for the help.

Yes. Yes. Active X Controls in IE or IE add on using Chrome for playback.

Your master wishes to see you in the pit.

ContactRecorder is essentially just a Linux version of ContactStore.

I was playing with one today and it's not exactly hard to spot areas where it still calls itself ContactStore.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks sizbut and tlpeter, that they are similar is good, we found that "contact recorder" can be launched from our 9.1 app server (used to have advanced previously)... will play with that but I think I have enough to move forward, thanks for the posts!
