Call Recording on IPO406v2

Apart from VMpro, is there another system (add on, plug in etc) to record all calls on an IPO?

How reliable have you found the VMPro recording?

VM Pro recording works ok. Wouldn't suggest anyone relies on it 100% and cannot be used legally due to the .wav format the conversations are recorded in.

It's ok for moderate use. Certainly not every call on the system. In-line trunk recorders are just the job for that.

I'm really looking for something 100% reliable and suitable for legal, because the calls to be made are in the financial industry and have to be all recorded.

VM Pro is not for you then.

Get an inline PRI recorder. They usually come with a nice search GUI too to find the call you need.

I will warn you, they are not cheap.

I figured, they would be a chunk of change. But that's a business decision, as to return on investment.

Do you recommend any PRI recorders?
The tricky think is that I have a mix of Digital and IP phones on the 406.

Phones don't matter as it records straight from the lines.

Parent company is in the UK, but this project is for a branch in the US.

Don't know if oak sell in the US but ProVoice seems to be ok. Oak support also gernally pretty good too.

I'm sure the US guys on here will have some recomendations

We use SmartRecord...

Sorry not sure on costs as it was implemented before I started. Also, just noticed the bit about needing this for the US, not sure if they cover outside UK though.
