Call Presentation Buzz has changed

Hi All

Up until about 10am this morning, whenever our ACD agents would receive a call it would make an audibal buzz on their handset (3905) to alert them to the call.

However, at 10 this morning my switch got the hic-ups and had to be rebooted. Ever since then it would appear that the call presentation Buzz has turned to a ring. Of course the two could be completely unrelated but thought I had better drop that in just in case!

Is anyone able to tell me how I can turn this back?

On the ACD DN in ld 23, is FORC yes? for call force instead of queuing.
 
Hi bigindian, FORC is set to NO.

I have since found that this is only happening on two of my agents. Is it possible they have had a play around and managed to change something at the handset level?

Check their CLS for BUZZ, make sure headset is plugged into headset jck, not side monitor, or handset jck, phone options headset port on call - on. on some 3905 I have had to - external alerter - on, to get a buzz in the headset & not on phoneset, probably a headset issue though when I have to do that.
 
I guess I didn't pay close enough attention, your using handsets, not headsets??
 
Have checked the CLS for Buzz and HEADSETS are plugged into the correct ports. Weird huh!??!



 
That is strange, I would put a headset off one of those two on a working set and vice-versa to eliminate that piece, and check phoneset options compared to one that is buzzing correctly.
