I have a request to setup a MCR key so several users can answer the same number. Is there an option in call pilot that would provide a simple message before the number was called on the phones?

thanks in advance....

You would have to send that DN to callpilot and answer with an announcement and then transfer to a new DN that is programmed on the sets.

so i need a DN forwarded to call pilot from the pbx. then have that forward back to the pbx ext on the phones?

can you get me started as to what needs to be done on call pilot?

Using App Builder make an application in callpilot eg.

Begin-----Anouncement---Transfer to MCR number----End

Put a Phantom 500 set DCFW to voice Mail DN. In Callpilot manager SDN table tie the number of the Phantom 500 set to the application. In IDC point incoming number to 500 set.

another way to do that is idc table..
Code:
DCNO 1
IDGT CDGT
2454 800081
2471 800081

in this example 2454 is a did.. then 800081 is a maxp 1 acd ncfw to mail, in cp it is a voice service dn pointed to an app.. the app filters for dow and tod then if the office is open it plays a voice prompt then transfer to 2454..

by using the idc i did not have to change the mcr that appears on 6 phones... if busy it hunts to a area ringer so the same 6 users can use pick..

that dept never wants a busy or mail to answer.. the number is used for heliport dispatch.. off hours it rings to hosp operator (symposium) so she can radio call the standby room
