I'm a junior tech in traning, and I need to ask a few questions...
1. What is an ID
2. What is a TN
3. What dose "...go to load 32 and disu the TN'S..." mean.
(I am unformilliar with these terms)

The system I am working with is an MICS system.

Sorry to inconvenience you, but if you could help me out that would be great

tid is tape id, a carry over from tape drives and it is the switch serial number..

the tn is the terminal number, the hardware port that you program phones and trunks against, it gives you a io for that device..

the merridian software is broken down into overlays,, refered to as loads..from the old term load overlay.. in the switch command line ld 32, gives my term access to the maint commands disu disable unit..so after you log in

Code:
>ld 32
NPR000 (just a marker that says your here)
.disu 64 0 14 14 (the tn of my bosses phone)

. (this dot mean complete) [/code}

the next line will be enlu 64 0 14 14..after he calls in a ticket...this can be fun

there was a similar problem in the norstar forum ...

what system do you have bradmaver? what version?

does the norstar use the call pilot now? haven't played with them in a while, have one installed at home for the grandkids to play with. they like putting strange names on the phones and calling each other...

Yeah. A little call pilot 100/150. Web interface, all that jazz. Easy to install too.
