We have a Call Pilot 1002rp on release 3.03. It is networked with two other 1002rp systems, one on 3.03 and one on 4.04. Our CEO wants to know if we can send a broadcast message. We have been looking in the NTPs and CP training manuals for some sort of procedure how to do that, but we can't find anything. How do we do that? What has to be done to broadcast it to users on all threes systems?

When a user sends a network-wide broadcast, the message is delivered to all users at both local and remote sites. This is accomplished by addressing the message to the network broadcast number.

This can be found at

Messaging Management
(Halfway down the page) Broadcast Information

If your software does not have this (due to release) then create a distribution list which includes the broadcast mailbox numbers for all CP servers.

You also need to make sure the user's mailbox you are using has rights to send a broadcast in the mailbox class.
