Call Pilot Rls 4.04 Virus Protection 1

Appreciate any info on what Nortel provides for virus protection for Call Pilot Rls 4.04.

Norton or McAfee and 2 or 3 other are support by Nortel.

They are listed in the Call Pilot NTP's.

Nortel do not support the application and clearly state the position with regards to anti-virus in the NTP's. There are also bulletins on nortel.com about anti-virus

Be sure to install the antivirus software on the D: drive NOT the C: drive!

C: is reserved for the CallPilot application.

Another issue is to not install any form of domain PUSH application onto CallPilot for updates. You need a repository for your DAT files (internet access is not recommended for the CP) that CP can update AV from.
