Call Pilot Remote Notification

Is there a way to prevent a user from turning off all future remote notification?

I don't believe there is as this is nornally a function that it controlled by the user.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.


 
Check the mailbox Class.
There is a checkbox to allow or disallow remote notification changes from telset.
As long as they don't have MyCallPilot access then that may do what you want.
 
Hmm, I dont see that option in the mailbox classes. I see the option to allow or disallow 'Can set up RN schedule by phoneset'. I'm on version 4.04.04.30. Maybe a newer version supports that option.

Sorry, that is the option I meant. Uncheck it and the user will not be able to access remote notification options from the phone.
 
That did work, but I guess I wasnt clear about something. This is what happens. We get calls throughout the night and the callers leave a message for next day service. At 9:00 the next day, several phones ring at the same time. When someone picks up one of the phones and says hello, callpilot answers and says 'Hello call pilot has received a message from nortel networks'. Then you get the 'To log in and listen to the message press 1' To turn off all further remote notification press 3. After pressing 1, you get the regular msg, Meridian mail, mailbox . . . .

The person who used to maintain all of our telco is no longer here.

That option 3 is the one I would like to prevent the users from doing. I appreciate any help.
