Is their a way to have a phone ext. such as 1778 to fwd to an acd extension (2244) for a call pilot menu operation.I tried making the number 2244 as a virtual same problem the digits follow the phone ext. Following is the err msg.

ERR4057
CFNA cannot terminate on the Forward DN (FDN) because the FDN is an
ACD-DN which is not a Message Center, or the set on which the FDN is
defined does not have Message Waiting Allowed (MWA) Class of Service
(COS).
Either redefine the FDN, or give the dialed set MWA COS.
Severity: Minor

Thanks !

you have to make 1778 a vsdn.. then for 1778 to use a mb you can use a express msg option on the menu.. if needed..

cp looks as the vsdn table 1'st then the mb, then ext dn's,..

the only other way, and it's a last ditch workaround is to forward external, to reach menu 1000. cfw 9xxx1000.. then the original dialed dn would be 1000 not 1778..

i've done that by just putting two trunks back to back then pointing a single dsc to those, the atdn being the vsdn.. as posted... last resort workaround, but it allows any user to either not forward and follow fdn or to forward and calls hit the menu

I Thank you for the suggestion Ghtrout, but it does not work. I may not have been as clear as I should have been.
Thanks Johnpoole
They want to have set 2616 ext. 1778 to fwd no answer to the call pilot menu sdn 2244 after 4 rings on the set.

I dont know if this is possible coming off a set.

Thanks again!

John I like your last idea I'll try it.

It sounds to me like you just need to build 1778 as an SDN and point it to the same service that 2244 is pointed to.
