Is there a method to restricting Call Pilot Manager to showing only the Call Center or is it a flawed 3.6 build 2.2c? The only tab that showed up when you open Call Pilot Manager was the Call Center tab and all sub menus were accessible?
I was on site and was going to back up and restore a copy to another unit so as to not take the customer down during an upgrade process. The same problem resulted on the working unit I took with me after I attempted restoring the programming. Rebooting didn't help and I'm now coldstarting the MSC and doing a re-install on the voicemail to get the unit back. I want to know is it a 3.6 nightmare or was this software somehow restricted so the customer only had access to Call Center?

Actually .....
You can setup a CallPilot Manager password that only allows access to Call Center. But, you have to be able to log into CallPilot Manager on the Voicemail side to set it up. The CP Manager login password can easily be changed from a system phone. It's the same as resetting the System Coordinator password on a Norstar Voicemail.

Once in the VM CP Manager ....
Go to Configuration>Access Passwords.
This is where you set the restricted access to Call Center Only.

Have a star on me, I learned something new. I only have 1 CC and I didn't need a seperate password, but if I ever do, i'll know how to do it.

Thanks

Thank-you sir!
It's a nice way to "restrict" a Call Center administrator so they only have access to what they need.
