I’m using apps builder and when I try to define/edit a voice item, I am unable to get Call Pilot to dial an extension.
When I push record I get the following error "Unknown error., (0)"
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Application Builder for CallPilot (Build 03.03.06.02)

Thanks in advance

When using application builder use another mailbox administrator other than mailbox "000000" I have had a similar problem and even having upgraded to the latest application bulider the problem was resolved by creating another mailbox with administrative rights and logging onto apps builder with this mailbox.

Something to look at

I had an issue before but not the same error. check your restriction and permissions and make sure the beginning number to the ext your calling in the local settings.

App builder uses local and not the on-switch permissions

or try reinstalling recorder on the PC you are using.

It's only dialtone-VZ

Look at your RPL table and check your on switch permissions/restrictions

i agree with the app builder re-install.. have you tried to record by dialing prompt maint? that would at least tell you if the "unknown err" is on the cp os or the app builder app itself. i have almost all my recordings does by the end user, works way better then doing them from the app builder. i do use that for test recordings when building a new app

Thanks for all the replies, just got back into town so I haven’t had the chance to post to this. Anyway last week I got it working by selecting the following options in CallPilot Manager located under Messaging – Internet Mail Clients – IMAP- Authentication Options
Enable IMAP with Challenge-Response Authentication
Enable IMAP with Plain Password Authentication

My bad, I thought Options were just that “Options”
Thank you all for taking the time to help with this
