Call Pilot 600r locking up 2

Hello All,
I have a call pilot 600r. Release 5.0.. With SU 11 on for peps..
The system has been locking up and will not receive call..I have logged onto the server and I try to log onto the manager page and it sits there...They have rebooted the call pilot and it works for a few days and then locks up again..Looking through the event browser I see Call Pilot AOS service has terminated unexpectedly it has done this 86 times.. Also getting event id 333 An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably..
There are a couple others in here but not sure whats going on..

Our 600r crapped out on me 2 times thus far - it seems to be realted to the memory slots or chips - I havnet quite nailed it down as I have managed to get it back up by removing or skipping a memory slot or swapping a memory stick both times. Just something to try.....the first time it would not even power up and boot, this time it did not want to boot but did power up. I was told by another vendor that the best method to shut one of these down is via ctrl-alt-delete > choose shutdown, rather than using the start button shutdown...? IDK why? I fanybody has a spare one of these laying around from an upgrade or soemthing I'd realy like to get my hands on one........just to use for a test bed or backup machine. They seem to be hard to find lately

replace the memory module they are usally 512kb but replace with 1gb and it should boot up .
