I have a cp 150 locks up and i have to reset it.
I have changed the power supply. Runs for about a two weeks then runs slow and locks up about 80 mb run auto att. Could this a software touble or a bad unit.

call comes in and cp no answer and you can't tranfer or or get to MB.

I would check first thing for unmonitored mailboxes piling up messages and using up the CP's memory.

What version is it?

When its "locked up" what is the status of the LED's?

When its "locked up" what do you get pressing F985?

These are tough little boxes to troubleshoot.
It's always easier to swap out the software than the cabinet.
If you change the cabinet, you lose config and have to regen the keycodes.
