Having problem with start up on call pilot 150 mini. Would like to use ethernet crossover cable to initilize cp 150.
Have the x over connected and launched browser with default ip and the call pilot manager screen does not come up. The cp 150 shows that the 10/100 and led (6) are connected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated on this. 1st time attempting pc connection and not telephone for system initialzing.
 
Did you change the IP address of your PC to be in the same range as the CP150? For example, 192.168.110.11. If the IP address of the CP was changed, connect to the serial port, 9600 baud, 8-N-1. Then reboot the CP to see the current IP address.

I did not change the ip on pc. The cp 150 has not been previously installed.
I have new hp with vista and not quite sure on how to change ip for browser.

The cdp 150 is not connected to ksu, does it have to be to program?
 
I did change the lan ipv4 ip settings to 192.168.110.11 with subnet mask as 255.255.255.0.

Still won't connect to cp150 from browser using explorer 7.0 on h.p. vista p.c.
 
Might not ever work with Vista. Not many Nortel products do.
 
exmogger's right. No KSU, no VM. Gotta have 'em both connected to do anything.

Let us know how it works out with Vista.
 
I would like THANK all of the responders to this question.
I was able to connect the cp150 to the MICS and change the P.C. ip to 192.168.110.11 and access the call pilot manager.

The vista seemed to be no problem on cp system programming.
There was only (1) weird item the cp150 came up with english (uk) and english (aus). I had to use the language software to install english (us) and spanish. Would have thought new cp150 would have had english(us)as the default language.
 
Depends on who and where you purchased.
Sometimes on non-authoized dealr may get their hands on non NA systems....they come CAN English too EH???
I actualy changed mine at home to UK....she's HOT!
lol
