Anyone ever lose the MGATE card and the DS30 card at the same time? They are the connection between the two systems.
As of now, anything going to voice mail in any fashion (menus, mailboxes, users, Symposium scripts) receives dead air. I can monitor the Call Pilot channels as they are accessed, but to dead air.
Our vendor has placed both of these cards on order, but as you can imagine we are not having fun this morning, although I have programmed lots of workarounds throughout the night to keep our call centers up and running.

Having one single point of failure that can bring a company to its knees is not very comforting. Think about how you are configured and what you would do if yours died.

thanks, tony rico

Hi

We faced a similar problem wherein , Mgate card, DSP Board both went faulty ,Ultimately Both cards & Cable were replaced simultaneously. But in our case it was not dead air call pilot channels were not coming into service.

One reason for dead air may be SCN number mapping in config wizard & in switch.
