I have a guy trying to pick up a call that he does not see on phone, but hears ringing in the area he is working. He is in the same RNPG group. GPUA is allowed in CLS. It is prompting him for a Spree code. How do you find the code? what are my options? Thanks in advance.

spree code is under your ftr data.. ld 21 prt ftr..

on a dig set, give him a pickup key

There is a RNP key programmed on key-22. And he is in the same group as the phones he needs to pick up. They want to do away with spree code.

GPUA is set, but is PUA

they want to use spree codes? maybe you need smarter users.. they need the spree from an analog, they just need the PUDN or PUGR code from ld 57.. spree is used for analog stations,, from my box we use #7 to do a group pickup IF your at a sstation without a pick key..

you should not need pua IF they are trying a pick in the same group... we do add pua gupa to all pick groups, due to habit.. no one here knows the code to do directed pick

PUA means you are able to pickup someone else
PUD means you are unable to pickup someone else
If you are in a RNPG, you can always be picked up. So, if you are PUD, you can be picked up, but not pick up others.
