has anyone heard of call per call service thru Verizon
semmes my customer is paying every month but does'nt known what it is?

Do you mean 'call-by-call', sometimes abbreviated as 'cbc' or 'cxc'? If yes, that means that the PBX and the CO negotiate the type of call to be placed on any circuit of the trunk group. Call types are typically; sdn, sddn, megacom, megacom800, wats, operator, etc.. CxC eliminates the need to have a seperate trunk group for each type of service.

Customer has 2 trunk groups (2) PRI 's thru Verizon for local 2 way calls and (2) T-1's thru AT&T for long distance and international
My question is , do they really need cbc ?

If they're just using it for outbound LD on the AT&T trunks and DID/DOD on the Verizon trunks, then no. They don't need call-by-call.
