Hello everybody, with VMPRO an Auto Attendant has been configured with 3 language options and callers also put on queue if busy,i have to do it like this : if a caller is in the English option the English announcement will be played in the other sense if a caller is in the Spanish option the Spanish announcement will played .
Any idea would much appreciated.
Thanks !

You must ensure the call has the locale correct, either in Incomong call route with CLI check or in VM Pro with a Menu to select the desired language.
Once the locale is set it will retain with the call until changed eithr in IP Office or in VM Pro.

Then when the call hits the group and the annpouncements are on program for that group in the specific start point of that group the folowing:
Queued : Start > Generic > prompt : $LOC\svm_07.wav
Still Queued : Start > Generic > prompt : $LOC\svm_07.wav

Or send them to different groups routing through a language setting option on the way then all system prompts will be that language

The 2nd reply is more appropriate to me,thank You Westi!
About the first one i'm little confuse on the way to get the call on the correct locale.

Thanks !

It's about time you do the exercises if you plan on deploying and maintaining VMPro in the future.
I've put them in a single download for you here:

You'll even find Intrigrant's way of doing it in there, it's not very difficult.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Alright thank you, i'll take a look.
Thanks !

I hate to use multiple groups for different languages, the locale setting is build for this.
And if you don't know how that works then better not touch the VM Pro before getting trained on it.
You can even do this with a enbeded VM.

You get a much cleaner setup that way, 1 module covers every languages supported.

(Not saying Westi is BS'ing, for a single once in a lifetime occurrence, his suggestion is good enough...
If building anything more around it, your setup grows into something very difficult to maintain)

Kind regards

Gunnar

Actually I don't care what method is choosen, my advise is as good as Westi's. Just another approach with the same result and the result is the only thing that matters.
