Call Monitoring for Definity G3R

When a call starts in one VDN and vector, and a step leads it to another VDN, is there anyway to continue the call being monitored, currently once it transfers to the new VDN the person monitoring is dropped.
 
Sounds like a bug to me. I would call Avaya because I don' think it's supposed to do that.
