Here is what you can do.
First make sure you create a partition for the Ringdown, the a calling search space containing that partition.
IP Phone
Configure a line with any number and assign that Line to the Partition and CSS you just created for the RingDown.
FXO
Inbound
I'm assuming you have this configured in CM already. Assign your Attendant DN to point to the number you just configured on the IP Phone, and the port Direction is set for Bothways. Make sure the CSS is the same one you created for the Ringdown. The sameone you configured for the IP Phone.
Outbound
Go to Route Pattern and create a patter with a dummy number or some number your not using or doesn't overlap with any other number in your system. For a example you can assign #20, assign the partition you created for this ringdown, the same as the phone. For Gateway or Route List, select the gateway with the FXO port you configured. Click insert
Translation Pattern.
Create a translation Pattern with no patter. Assign the same partition you created for the ringdown, which is the same as the phone. For CSS assign the same you created for the ringdown, which should be the same as the phone. Under Called Party Transform Mask configure the same number as the Route Pattern you configured that points to the FXO port.
Once you lift the handset it will connect you right away. When they pick up the handset on the other end, the same line should ring.
Hope this helps.
Stay cool; it’s not over yet!
