Can an extension log the call info if the call was answered by the receptionist and transferred to it? The customer wants each extension to log all calls transferred to it. But only log the calls that were directed to that specific extension. The system is a Norstar CICS.

Check under T&Set and preference you will see the option, don't forget to set the log in System Programming, Features Settings, Call log space

I am also trying to set this up if it's possible. I was able to successfully enable call logging on our receptionist's phone. But other people in my office want to be able to see who has called them.

When I enable call logging on their phones, it it only showing a call log history of calls answered by the receptionist. I have the receptionist phone set to appear and ring on all our lines. Everyone else's phones is set to appear only.

I've done that. For example at my desk I have it set to "Unanswered by me". My phone displays "Calls for you". When I view the call log, it shows all the info I need, but the calls it's showing aren't calls that were transfered to me. They are all the calls that the receptionist answered.

I only want calls that were for me to show up.

The only solution that I have found is to program a button to log the calls manually on each set. I think it's feature 813

So you just programmed that to a button on each set and then the user presses that button while on a call?

yes. you might check to make sure feature 813 is the right code. My memory is not so good these days

That's the right feature. The only problem is I'm needing this mostly for logging missed calls while a person is away from their desk. So I guess the button idea won't really suit my needs. Thanks though.
