I have a 4.0 400 and a ISDN PRI with DID and Caller ID. I set up call logs so each user has 15 call log records. To return the call, we must dial 9+1+area code and then pick up the phone and then the call can be returned.

Isn't it possible to just to return the call without having to dial the beginning 9 1 and the area code?

Is there a workaround to get this to work more smoothly.

I never give people call log and this is the reason, plus the CALLS for You always annoys people, but that's another story.

Something with routing, can't put my finger on it though, maybe area codes, or the first two digits, and then adding 9,1 in front...I could be way off though.
