It seems when you hit "to VM" on an incoming call, it doesnt show in log, same with ignore....is this normal, why dont these show in the call log? Is this something you can adjust?

Log missed calls answered at coverage" :)

"No problem monkey socks

Thanks also I just had this question raised and now have an answer.

Yeah, just like a lot of IP office things, its not clear where I should start looking...but at least its an option. There are some things they just wont cover. We just started adding 96xx series phones, and the options are cool, but some people want this and that and this and blah blah blah. Stupid customers...now if only I could figure out Regions within DECT.... :)

Regions within IPDect is easy.
You use regions when the basestation does not have coverage to the other basestations (it cannot sync)
If you have miltiple sites on one IPO you cannot have roaming on those basestations and need there own region.
One basestation needs to be the sync master per region.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yes, but, can you get the phones to re-register when they enter a new region? And what do you mean multiple sites on one IP office? I understand the Sync master portion. Just unclear on the rest, say I have 2 different areas, within 1 IP office system, how do I add another DECT line, as far as I can tell you are only allowed 1 in the system

You do not need another dect line because it is one system.
I do not talk about a SCN! but on one IPO with multiple locations and thus multiple locations with dect.
The system has the same sari code so the phones should register on a different region.

Cool, Im gonna try that out, so you just set them to sync to the Regions MBS, thus having 2 MBS and the rest air synched within that region? I could not get it working, but now thats some insight!

Advanced Scenario: Separated Locations
In most scenarios, the master base station is also used as the air synch master for all the other slave base stations and
that is the scenario documented in this manual. However, in scenarios where you have base stations in separate locations
that are not within synchronization range of each other, it is permissible to assign separate air synch masters in each
location. However, there must be absolutely no overlap (<-90dB) between the separate groups of base stations. Any
overlap will cause frequent lose of synchronization.
Having separate locations, each with its own synchronization is done through the settings on the DECT | Air Sync tab of
each base station. For each location, set the same Sync Region number for all the base stations at that location, using a
different number for each location. In addition, set the Sync Mode of one of the base stations in each location as Master

That is the way it is.

rbs 1 -> master basestation and sync master on region 1
rbs 2 -> sync master on but a slave in the system.

When you have done it once you will really think how easy it was :)
