I can't seem to see why I can't set the CallListen shortcode. I followed the instructions in the IP Office help wizard to the T and still when I try to do a call listen it keeps rejecting my call, regardless if someone is one the phone or not! Please help...again :) Thanks

What type of phones are you using.
'Call Listen' is only available on 'non direct media path'extensions. So if you are using IP phones it's normally not working, because of the tick on 'direct mediapath' to save VCM channels.

I assume you created a monitor group, added the users and have set/reset the 'can intrude' and 'cannot be intruded'
settings.

So, you have "can intrude" ticked on your phone? And "can be intruded" on the others? Are these phones in a group? If they are, you have to be a member of that same group.

God the Avaya help wizards can be so omissive sometimes. In fact, they were totally wrong! The troubleshooter explicitly says CallLisiten has nothing to do with the intrusion settings...

I think Avaya needs to go back and update their help sections...

Thanks guys it's working now...

Since 3.1 the Call Listen feature is depending on the intrusion settings wich is documented by Avaya ( if you know were to look ) and a monitoring user does not have to be a member of the group were the to be monitored users are in.
