Good Day folks!

I am curious as to a feature that exists in some of the bases I have worked in. This feature is the ability to dial a DN (local/extension) and then it replies back on the phone with the DN (local/extension) from which you are dialling from. This has saved a great many grief from a troubleshooting side of the house, as it allowed us to identify phone lines that did not have a local/extension identified.

Is there a way to find this feature if it is activated/implemented? If not, is there a sequence to activate such a feature/ability?

There is no built-in feature for that on the CS1000.
If you have Contact Center Server you can make a simple application that will do it. You need to have the voice segment digits recorded in Contact Center.

OPEN VOICE SESSION
PLAY PROMPT NUMBERBYDIGIT CLID NUMBERBYDIGIT CLID
END VOICE SESSION

DISCONNECT

So if it is not a feature available in the CS1000, apart from Contact Center Server, is there a list of ways/options that this kind of ability can be implemented and made a reality?
